Is there a way to make Win32 applications runing under Wine skinned? Do programs like WindowBlinds work?

Don't know, but personally I would much rather have a gtk/kde renderer so that the wine apps looks like everything else.

you could try installing windowblinds to see
if it does anything.

Personally, I doubt a system level program like WindowsBlinds would work in Wine.

wasn't Ximian working an a gtk wrapper for wine ? to use it with mono ? does someone know what happened to that project ?

people have tried making wine skinnable in the past, no sucesses so far though =P

I recently read about it in a wine weekly newsletter. There's a dll Windows XP uses for theming that has not yet been implemented and would require some rather large changes to implement.
I have no idea how older versions of windowsblinds and such worked with win 98, but I doubt it'll work.
You can however set the "managed" configuration option for wine, which should replace the windows like window borders with your default window manager's.
Edit: Here we go. That's the article I meant. The dll is called UXTheme.DLL.

I remember seeing someone change the default widget colour... I can't find anything about it though :|
