X problems on a EVO N150

Hi.
i have some problems getting my X to work propery in my Compaq EVO N150. the Problem is this: i start up x and everything looks nice, but when i move the mouse the screen flickers.

I have read something about disableing ACPI and i have tried that (if someone could tell me how to check if i have done i properly i would be happy) but that changed nothing.

I have installed from the latest livecd and am runningXfree 4.3.0-r2.
using driver trident
the "hz" setting have i taken from http://www.linux-on-laptops.com

I would be happy i someone had some idea what i sould do
