Hello all!
I'm new to gentoo and scsi, but not linux.
I have a tekram dc390u3w scsi controller and a seagate hard drive connected to it.
I can't load the ncr53cxx module, I keep getting errors.
Anyone have ideas? _________________ Take Care,

Try moving the scsi card into a different PCI slot. I had the same problem, and it turned out to be an irq conflict. To of my PCI devices got mapped onto the same irq, moving the card fixed this. |

Thanks!, you know that might be itt. I had a problem with the drive dropping down to narrow U2 instead of full U160. Someone else suggested I move the slot as well.
I did it last night and it works at full speed now, I'll try to install again this weekend.
Thanks again! _________________ Take Care,
