Evening all!

I know this isn't the place to raise bugs but I'm hitting unaligned trap "bugs" for a few different programmes.

Examples;

Code:

[25273.461669] autom4te-2.69(3670): unaligned trap at 00000200001893d0: 0000000120066e51 28 1
[25296.079821] autoheader-2.69(3720): unaligned trap at 00000200001893d0: 0000000120046c21 28 1
[29982.652617] emerge(21341): unaligned trap at 00000200000da82c: fcfcfcfcfcfcfcfc 29 2

What I want to ask is, any suggestions for more getting more information so I can raise some bugs? I know its a pretty dead platform but still, these make emerging new things difficult.

They don't happen every time either, so ideally I can use something that will track everything for when it happens.

You can start reading here: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:Alpha/Porting_guide#Unaligned_Accesses This is usually a bug in the program, but in some cases it might be a gcc issue.
