Looking at the post dates of the name you mentioned, it has been quite a bit longer than mere four years, but perhaps there is something else you could prove that with.

Either way, I'd probably go with e-mailing forum-mods@gentoo.org since I feel that being better suited for dealing with matters like this (or perhaps send a private message to a user here with the Admin status, though that only reaches one at a time, while the e-mail route reaches them all!).

We do have a Username change request thread (part 2) for when (or if) you want the current name to be changed to something else that is available (in case the above does not work for a reason or another).
