vga=791 & lilo

Following my vendor of my machine, I have to put a line in the lilo.conf file: vga=791
Since Gentoo doesn't use lilo, where to put this line ?

Add it to the kernel parameters and make sure you compiled Framebuffer support and VESA FB into your kernel.
