|
|
I have installed gentoo-sources-4.6.0, and no matter what i do with configuration (i use the same config as was in my previous 4.5.2-r1 (that word perfectly) - tried to use defaults to new options, and also tried NO to all new options), the system boots ok maybe one of 10 times, all other times it stucks on "Loading initial ramdisk ..." without any errors.
I don't know where to start, any help would be appreciated
The same issue happens also on pc itself, and also on vmware with 4.6.0 kernel |

Did you rebuild the initramfs with the build of the new kernel? _________________ Defund the FCC. |

it seems that upgrading kernel to 4.6.1 resolves this problem completely (with exactly the same config) |
