Thanks to everyone that helped me get gentoo installed, well it's installed now i've to install X. Do i have to have an internet connection inorder to install X or is there a way around that? |

it may be on CD2, I am pretty sure it is actualy. You may want to look at that.

X is on CD 1
and KDE GNOME etc are on CD2
Read the userdocs install and desktop setup and u are on ur way

First of all, read the Desktop Installation Guide.
Moved from installing Gentoo to Desktop.
