| Does anybody know how to get the sun-java-kits work from beginning with stage1. Everytime when i install from stage1 blackdown-jre is installed, but this one doesen't work for me in special cases (e.g. mod_php with java). |

| Hmm, stage1 you say? Try emerging it right after bootstrap finishes. I've done "emerge sun-jdk" before "emerge system" a couple of times which worked fine. |

After some trying I found that adding following two lines to /var/cache/edb/virtuals before also solves the problem.
| Code: | virtual/jre dev-java/sun-jdk
virtual/jdk dev-java/sun-jdk
|
I think these have to be on the end of the file and in this order. Else, at least on my computer, portage has some problems. |
