Mplayer won't play DVDs!

Hi, my problem of the day is the following :

I emerged Xine and Mplayer.

After working some things out, I finally succeeded in reading my dvd in Xine, but I still can't read them in Mplayer.

Yeah I know if it works in Xine why couldn't I just stick with Xine and not come here and whine?

Well hum... It's just that I think it would be, er... kinda cool if Mplayer could work. That's all.

I think there's a missing library somewhere, because the mplayer menu doesn't mention "play DVD" whereas it does mention "play VCD" or some other options I don't care about... But I can't figure out what library i might have forgotten!!

Any suggestions?

Put 'dvd' in your USE flags and re-merge mplayer.

If that doesn't work, just use it from the commandline:
