Hi,
i installed gentoo on lenovo m58p.. when i run X -configure i get this:

basically crashes with intell.. i had nvidia 8600 gt and worked perfectly... what should do gentoomen? cheers and thanks in advance! |

ehh i dont know.. i just run command from terminal without any gui.. |

X -configure does not work with kms. There is no need to use it, X will start without any xorg.conf.
If you need to set a keyboard layout or static multi-monitor layout, create an xorg.conf.d/ snippet for it. See https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Xorg/Guide |
