Plasma bumblee setup

I have tried to get opengl to work with my laptop for the past 2 days for plasma and no luck.

It is a samsung RF-711 it uses an nvidia 540m card

when i do eselect opengl set nvidia and run /etc/init.d/xdm I get a blank screen

I have tried using bumblebee but I get the following error:

I can only get plasma to run on xorg-x11 for opengl

I have set sddm as my display manager in my /etc/conf.d/xdm file

I am not sure what more I can do

can be closed - i just edited /home/nick/.config/kwinrc and changed backend to opengl instead of xrender.

got wobbly windows!!
