HELP - Can I create an LVM snapshot of a writable snapshot

I know how to create a snapshot of a logical volume. I know I can create a writable snapshot of a logical volume. Can I create a snapshot of a writable snapshot of a logical volume, and then can that last snapshot also be writable? I suspect yes, but I cannot try it right now, so I thought I'd ask if anyone has done this before.
