hi there,

to get wlan working at my university i have to use freeswan. i followed the linux instrucions they gave me but i still have problems. which are non-university-specific. kernel is patched and freeswan merged. the ipsec.conf seems to be right, also i have my certificates. but i still can't get it working. so maybe somebody of you has more experience using freeswan than i have.
on http://3digit.dyndns.org/vpn/ i have posed tail of eroute and dmesg and the output of ipsec barf.
it is strange, right at the beginning it says
Code:
Checking for RSA private key (/etc/ipsec/ipsec.secrets)             [FAILED]
ipsec showhostkey: no default key in "/etc/ipsec/ipsec.secrets"
but the path in ipsec.secrets is right and the certificate is located there ...

big thanks in advance and greets,
hulk

Hi,

I've never done this before but I found an excellent Howto and stored it as bookmark just in case if I ever will try it. It might give you some hints because I can't do it :(
