Staying on a stale GNOME 3.6 for a long while (because of systemd), I've recently and happily migrated to GNOME 3.20 with Dantrell's pathset.
Thank you Dantrell! Much appreciated!
Everything seems to be working fine, except weird behaviour of Places menu (in Nautilus, Nemo and elsewhere).

It now shows all the mounts from /etc/fstab (or rather /etc/mtab more likely) -- including /proc and /shm -- and no actual removable disks (e.g., USB Flash drives).
I currently workaround by mounting removable drives from gnome-disks (after which they show up on Places while mounted), but it's kinda annoying.
Unfortunately, I've no idea where to even start looking for the cause. Any ideas? Is anyone else having the same problem? _________________ "I reject your reality and substitute my own" - A. Savage |
