It seems that dev-lang/gnat-gcc is languishing and I feel I ought to do something about it, since I do use it, but am unsure about the commitment.
In general, are there instructions/standards/guidelines for package maintainers?
Specifically, can anyone advise on what would be required with that package? Presumably it starts with knowing when the FSF update their version, then package it up and run a set of tests. _________________ Michael Mounteney |

See this page on how to become a Gentoo Developer. For a somewhat lighter commitment, there's also the possibility of proxy maintainership.
