Dear friends and fellow Gentoo enthusiasts, I would like to bring to your notice my three year old project, Anapnea [http://anapnea.net]:
Quote: | Anapnea is the world's largest open Gentoo Linux shell server, offering accounts to all in need/seeking experience. We run our own server and all personnel get 100MB quota, webspace, email, irssi, screen (96 background processes), bash, a complete development environment (gcc/ruby/php/python/perl), git repository hosting all the programs, editors, clients and games you could ask for, all optimized and updated daily to their latest versions, and the rest, including knowledgeable peers for support. Our community is composed of programmers, artists, designers, writers, geeks, photographers and the like. |
I think Anapnea would interest Gentoo forum members because it's a good example of a secure Gentoo setup, and all accounts run on a Gentoo system whose portage packages are consistently kept up-to-date.[/url] _________________ Anapnea, the open Gentoo shell server:

Um, just noticed that the server is (permanently?!) down?? No idea when this happened as the site had been working for all this time (2010-2016)
