Hi guys. After almos A YEAR without updating because of reasons, I decided to format and install everything from scratch.
In my previous installation, I had updated from KDE4 to plasma, so in this case I installed plasma directly. However, I find the environment quite... incomplete.
I set the profile to desktop/plasma and emerged the plasma-meta package, version 5.8.3, but there seems to be lots of missing things: no konqueror or equivalent, no dolphin or equivalent, no konsole or equivalent... This is the list of installed programs which appear in the menu:
- cmake
- designer
-sandbox
-links
-wpa gui
-vlc
-timidity
(and some configuration stuff)
As you can see, this is like a desert... Any idea about what might be missing?
I would like to point out that apart from the default USE list, mine is quite short, so I am wondering if this might have something to do...
