@devsk: Which session tracker do you use? ConsoleKit, systemd-logind or elogind? | consolekit is what I use. For no specific reason. |

I *did* hope that me testing elogind would be the source of that problem. But if CK as a session tracker leads to the same problem, it is not the kcm getting the wrong information from accountsservice.
Actually I just run out of ideas... _________________ Important German:- "Aha" - German reaction to pretend that you are really interested while giving no f*ck.

Update:
I have upgraded to kde-plasma-5.9.2 and sys-auth/elogind-225.9999 (seden overlay) today, and now I am allowed to change my wallet settings with simple user authentication again.
Unfortunately I do not know which of the two updates (or any of those at all, as I have upgraded to kde-frameworks 5.31.0 a week ago but did not check it until today) did the trick. _________________ Important German:- "Aha" - German reaction to pretend that you are really interested while giving no f*ck.

plasma 5.9.2 and kf5 5.31 do not make any change for me here: still get that "You are not allowed to save the configuration". So, it looks like its the elogind then. I am not using elogind. |

Anyone else suffering from this issue can confirm (or deny) Yamakuzure's theory? |
