|
|
hi, i want to use kdm as my login manager, but it has 2 problems:
-after using kdm, the prompt in /etc/profile doesn't "load", i get the default one, I tried to put source /etc/profile to Xsession, but didn't help, maybe i put it in the wrong place?
- kdm wants to use just the default styles, not the ones installed after, so I can't use Alloy ( i tried to copy the libriaries and .stylerc and themerc to /usr/kde/3.1/..., dind't help...)
I have kde 3.1.4 |

Hi,
for the first problem you can put a line like this in your .bashrc:
PS1='\[\033[01;32m\]\u@\h \[\033[01;34m\]\W \$ \[\033[00m\]'
for second problem I think you can resolve by 'Control Center', 'Login Manager'. |
