for a given user, ere we have: Code: | select java-vm list
Available Java Virtual Machines:
[1] icedtea-bin-7
[2] oracle-jdk-bin-1.8 system-vm user-vm
[3] sun-jdk-1.6 | We'd like the same user to fall back to: Code: | select java-vm list
Available Java Virtual Machines:
[1] icedtea-bin-7
[2] oracle-jdk-bin-1.8 system-vm
[3] sun-jdk-1.6 | Any idea how to?

Did you try with deleting the content from the directory shown with env | grep JAVA_HOME? |
