Policies on security related posts?

I posted a security-related question. I referenced the Gentoo bug on the subject.

The post was deleted. I assume that I violated some policy, but I can't figure out what it was.

Can anyone suggest what policy I violated? This is a rather difficult question, since I don't want to incur further deletions by detailing the content of my post.

Was it https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1054230-highlight-.html ? Still seems to be there.

I've not heard of any issues that would become zero day security issues being silenced on the forums... though if it really was a serious issue I'd suggest getting attention from bugs.gentoo.org first would be a better course of action.

Yes, it's there now. I could not find it earlier. Most likely my mistake.
