post install instructions

Some packages (like PHP) require some additional steps after the successful emerge. These steps are displayed at the end of the emerge process.
When emerging a couple of packages at one time, these messages get lost.
So how about letting portage gather these messages while processing all packages and let it display all the messages at the end of all emerge processes?

in order to help with post install notes, how about having a file created in a /usr/portage/postnotes/(package).txt for post install notes, so you can refer back to if you need to reconfigure later
