Hello, sorry if sometimes i don't speak english very well, i'm french.

I have question about Unity package in Gentoo.

Unity package is it clean or has he many patchs as Ubuntu , or as Unity for Arch ? Unity installationis she minimal ?

Is there even a Unity package ? Can't see one

I see, well if it comes from an overlay, you might have a better chance asking the overlay maintainer since it's not an "official" Gentoo package.

A word of caution - Unity uses the Compiz window manager underneath, and that's not been well maintained at all. I tried it only a few months ago and got screen freezes and glitches several times a day. Maybe the version Ubuntu uses *is* heavily patched for that reason...
