|
|
I've been trying to compile a kernel for an RPi Zero W; however, the gentoo rpi kernel
build has massive dependencies such as git and guile, so I really need to crosscompile
it. I've got a crosscompiler built, and ordinary packages build with no problems,
but libassuan (needed by git?) fails with a complicated path error.
What's the best way to cross-compile the kernel from raspberrypi-sources?
Thanks - Will |

I assume these are the dependencies for emerging sys-kernel/raspberrypi-sources?
The alternative is just to grab the latest version of the sources from the raspberry pi github and cross compile them, which is as simple as make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=armv6j-hardfloat-linux-gnueabi
