Need apt-ftparchive on Gentoo, how can i build it?

Hello,

we have an apt-repository running on our webservers (Gentoo). Problem is that wie signed the repo with gpg. But for that we need this "Release" File. Us Repo: https://styrion.at/apt/ This time we do this manually with mounting the repodirectory on an Ubuntu.

What have i tested:
I've copied the binary to Gentoo with all his libs (only 5). The binary alone execute normal, but with arguements it crashes with coredumps... yes i know, not compiled on this system.

As second try, i loaded the source from git, but i think this is no buildable on gentoo, problems with env and others... and there isn't an overlay.

So is there no way to install apt-ftparchive on Gentoo?

The right way would be to build it on Gentoo, under control of an ebuild. If no one else has created an overlay to host a viable ebuild, then you should create one locally. If it fails to build, you should debug it or seek help from someone who can debug it for you. Post your ebuild and the error output here and someone might be able to suggest more specific action.
