Some years ago I came across a dark theme the for Gentoo forum specifically. The link below seems to be same theme iirc but I am wary of 'third party' sites:

Are there other options? Perhaps someone has a dark theme to share..

Quickly glancing over the code it looks safe — no embedded external URLs — and the forums haven't changed in about 15 years. Should be fine as long as you aren't using Stylish (recently in the news for big spyware scandal). |

I missed the initial reporting on the Stylish scandal. From what I found just now, it looks like only Stylish for Chrome is affected. Stylish for Firefox, as distributed by addons.mozilla.org, is reported to predate the scandal and thus be unaffected. If this analysis is not correct, I would welcome citations for any problems in the Firefox version. |

Didn't know about that fork, thanks for sharing. I had this installed, it gets the job done but it's horrible to use. |

hey thanks folks this dark theme works well with stylish on firefox.. using it now.
