Program Log Running Graphical Interface

I need to run the log of the graphical interface, I know the program that is presenting error, but I do not know the error, when I open the nm-applet and connect to wireless, I can not execute programs, firefox, terminal and libreoffice, in case Write, and if I disconnect from the wifi I can open the program, then I connect to the wireless and navigate, write text and execute anything in the shell even prowling the emerge, I need to find out what is giving the error.
Would anyone know of something to help or how to see the generated log of the open programs and why it runs because I see in the taskbar the application and the same closes and does not open?
