Hello there,
I followed the wiki to try plymouth : https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Plymouth
But on boot, I don't see anythink except a blank screen between grub and gnome.
I have an nvidia card.
I don't use genkernel.
I used dracut for initramfs.
What seems weird to me is when I try plymouth --show-splash, it works well.
When I boot with plymouth:debug, plymouth-debug.log is created but stays empty.
On boot, I see a line Starting Plymouth, so it seems something is working...
Anyone have an idea of what I missed ? |

What linux kernel are you running? 4.9.34 Gives me blank/freeze on Plymouth atm so using 4.9.16 for now.
What GPU are you using for plymouth? Intel or Nvidia?
Also, are you booting plymouth in text mode or graphically?
