How do I post screenshots here? I am looking for help with some errors I'm getting in TTY in Virtualbox, but I don't know how to copy the text to the host computer. Thanks |

AmphetamineSalts,
Welcome to Gentoo.
If the box has booted, you use wgetpaste to post a file or a command output to a pastebin site, then tell us the link.
If you need to past an image (photo), post it to a free image hosting site and paste the link.
You will need to emerge wgetpaste if you don't have it yet.
Helpers will quote the relevant part, which helps both you and later readers after the original pastes have been removed. _________________ Regards,

Wherever practical, please do not use screenshots of text. Screenshots of text are not searchable, and others most retype them in order to reference their content. Sometimes, that is the only way to get data out of a severely broken system, but please avoid it if you can.
For virtual machines, you may be able to attach a virtual serial port to the guest, then redirect its console to that serial port. The host software can then capture text written to the serial port. |
