I am looking for the best way to use dnsmasq with dhcpc on
my laptop while traveling. I see that for dnsmasq to be
useful to the laptop it is running on, I need to have
"nameserver 127.0.0.1" in /etc/resolv.conf, which of course
dhcpc wants to overwrite. I see the command line option in
the dhcpc man page to prevent the overwriting, but there's
no corresponding option to redirect the dhcpc output to
another file, say resolv.dhcpc. If that were possible, there'd
be an easy way to do this.

Has anyone found a way to do this transparently in gentoo's
net init system?
