| when i was running the system on the livedvd, and i was using smbclient -L hostname -u%, the message "error returning browsing list nt_status_access_denied" is prompted.how should the problem be resolved? |

| You could try to get the administrator of hostname to allow anonymous access. You could provide valid credentials for browsing hostname. |

| I cannot give detailed steps, because you have given us no information about the server and minimal information about the client. What LiveDVD did you use? What version of smbclient does it have? What server are you using? How is it configured? Why is it denying access? Did you try using valid credentials for that server? |
