Two different clock skew messages... first for /etc/init.d which adjusts the mtime of a file with an earlier time that I have no idea where it got, and then another skew message for a different file, which then adjusts the mtime of THE SAME FILE as before to the time that swclock saved upon shutdown.
Is this normal?
Where might it have gotten that earlier time?
Can I fix this? |

I get two clock skew messages too.
swclock ensures that time is monotonic, which keeps make happy.
I run ntp-client and ntpd to put the clock right and keep it calibrated from the network.
I have thought about a RTC plug in 'doofer' but I don't really care about time being correct at boot, as long as its OK when the network has started.
