I switched my system logger from sysklogd to metalog. I used rc-update to remove sysklogd andadd metalog. I have also unmerged sysklogd. However, everytime I emerge something, I get this:

* Caching service dependencies...
* Service 'metalog' already provide 'logger'!;
* Not adding service 'sysklogd'...

How do I clear this up?

thanks,

revoohc
