I emerged apache and went into my konsole and type in /etc/init.d/apache2 start then it gave me this message Quote: | Starting apache2...
apache2: Could not determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName | so I went into my browser after and typed in http://localhost but all of a sudden it can't connect i also tried 127.0.0.1 but still nothing, is there something wrong? I'm new to this apache on linux thing, so much help is needed. |

This is the wrong forum
I had the excact same problem, you have to change a line in /etc/apache2/conf/apache2.conf to:
Code: | ServerName <ENTER NAME HERE> |
It should be on line 8. I just use "fileserver", but you can use whatever you want. |
