Stub kernel

I will likely do another gentoo installation soon and I rather have a stub kernel setup, does this https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:AMD64/Full/Installation#Alternative_2:_efibootmgr yeild the same results this https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/EFI_stub_kernel ?

The handbook tells to read the other (EFI stub kernel -article), so I'd assume you get the same results?

Is there something you're not sure about in the wiki/documentation?
