Hi!
It seems to me that the new 2.1.3 mailman ebuild script has some errors. If i install it manually everything is working fine.
$PROMPT $ pwd
/usr/local/mailman
$PROMPT $ bin/check_perms -f
Could not import paths!
This probably means that you are trying to run check_perms from the source directory. You must run this from the installation directory instead.
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "bin/check_perms", line 38, in ?
import paths
File "bin/paths.py", line 55, in ?
import japanese
ImportError: No module named japanese
Any confirmations?

Hi,
I have the same problem and there is also another thread, which deals with this issue and suggests a workaround. (https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=109698)
But I think there must be other solutions out there.
