|
|
I used crossdev to build a system for a 1004kc MIPS CPU
I ordered a RBM33G routerboard with a 16gb microSD card, on which I'd like to install gentoo-linux.
Some basic questions:
-how do I load the kernel?
- how do I make it boot from the microSD card instead of the NAND flash (the routeros is too limited for what I'm planning to do with it )?
- which partition layouts will the MT7621A cpu support?
there is a way which might work, but I'm not sure how:
-boot from LAN (I have a tftp server to put the boot image on)
-write the kernel into the NAND flash storage, and the gentoo OS on the microSD card (but how will I do that?).
-install grub on the microSD card _________________ The power of Gentoo optimization (not overclocked): |

I think, you should use a bigger SD card (>= 64 GB) |
