Probably is a bug, as workaround you can install kde-misc/kdeconnect _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

Im pretty sure what changed was upgrade from kernel 4.9.x to 4.16.x now that you posted the bug. I have kdeconnect however it excessively drains phone battery even while not running. |

Have you enabled MTP mode from Android? You have to enable it every time you plug USB cable, new security feature came couple major versions ago. |

If you don't enable mtp mode you can't see device in 'Device notifier'. I have same issue in my system _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

It seems like an abandoned bug. simple-mtpfs works fine but its just nice to have native integrated kde mounting. Did systemd break non systemd apps agian? https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/8221 since this is the bug holding up the whole issue. |
