Hi everybody, I was wonder that I don't know can I ask this question on this subforum legally or not. BTW, I exquse if I selected improper place!
I booted from latest live release of Sabayon linux normally and I installed it right on my tablet (Lenovo Miix 310) but when I booted from its built-in SSD, It hanged on:
starting version 233
Could not get boot entry.
** No iSCSI initiator found
WARNING: Failed to connect to lvmetad. Falling back to device scanning.
ls: /dev/mapper/sabayon_sabayon-swap: No such file or directory
!! /dev/mapper/sabayon_sabayon-root is an invalid root device...
!! Could not find the root block device in .
!! Please specify another value or:
!! - press Enter for the same
!! - type "shell" for a shell
!! - type "q" to skip...
root block device() :: _
How can I resolve it?  Thanks.. |

mbzadegan ... have your lawyers call our lawyers :)
... but seriously, you're best to field such questions on the sabayon forum, we're using gentoo and simply don't know what sabayon is doing with its installer.

Actually from this thread, i think we have a clue 
(French would had said "we have an idea", English would too?) |

After the word "in" and before the period, the kernel listed all the block devices it can see.
That's exactly none at all. :)
There is a bit, or maybe more than one bit, missing from your kernel or initrd so it can't communicate with any block devices you may have.
