hey, im getting a notebook with a 320m video card (which has the chipset of a 9200) which is also a widescreen laptop... well, i was wondering if 1 - i can easily use a widescreen (which im most positive i can) and 2 - do the ati drivers work with that video card right away? or do i have to sacrifice 3d acceleration...and please tell me i wont, because if i cant get 3d accel, i MIGHT just go put winblows on it!! |

There are several threads on the process on the boards, do search for "RADEON IGP"
Basically you have a choice of patching the kernel or patching the xfree86 sources.
Ahh here is the thread:

Page 2 of the thread has a good walkthrough. _________________ Nathan King
