Hi all.
Yesterday morning I was playing with my biosand i had to load the defaults since my overclocking went wrong... Anyways since that moment nvnet wun work no more :( I tried to have different option in the bios (apic off,...) but no go... It has been working perfectely for 10 months and now dead.. Its a bios issue because the network will not work even with the live cd. Fortunately i installed freebsd a few days ago and im able to use the network with no problem on that installation (nvnet jus been ported to freebsd). The nic shows up in ifconfig, and i can ping, but unable to do anything else (lynx--> "making http connection")in linux. And no its not completely dead, jus only for linux as im writting that online from the bsd installation.
Have anybody ever have that? I really wanna recover my gentoo installation... Most of my partitions are reiserfs and I cant access my data with freebsd..

well as i jus said i have no errors when i load the module ;)
yep i did look at dmesg and my nic is recognised and given a IRQ
I think it may come from my epox 8rda+ mobo and 2.4.21 and 2.4.22 kernel .... I rade a few similar stories on nvidia forums from people with the same mobo.lemme try a 2.4.20 kernel...

Ok i know a little bit more now :)

when i do dmesg in linux:
it tells me than the ethernat card is at 0xe400-0xe407 memory range

when i do ifconfig on linux (remember my nvnet module loads jus fine):
it tells me that the ethernet memory address is 0x1000 (so its why it doesnt work isnt it?)

and on freebsd it tellms me the good adress in ifconfig nv0 : 0xe400-oxe407

:?: What to do now? :D
