Not sure where to put a welcome, but im new here. Im a 13 y/o GNU/Linux user, and wanted to talk gentoo

My new computer I received supports gentoo, md5crypto would fail on my old laptop and in result, no internet connection. My gentoo install took 5 hours (estimate, was asleep while doing world updates). 2+ hours, to get here and on firefox. Im actually new to gentoo as a daily driver, but for some reason I always felt like a genius when talking about gentoo linux, like what cflags are, make flags, use flags, and I thought all of them were going to be useful, I even recommended gentoo to some people even though i have never tried it as a daily driver, so i gave gentoo a shot and was extremely, very well happy with it. So, the install had absolutely no errors or even warning, using a Lenovo Ideapad Y580. Anyway, just saying hello, hope to be a huge help here :-)

I probably plan on sticking with Gentoo GNU/Linux for as long as I can, its just so amazing and I feel like ive been missing out. Well, like I said, i tried before but my computer wasnt playing well with Network Drivers, tried for ages, nothing accomplished.

Hello, and welcome to Gentoo! It's always good to see someone enthusiastic joining the user base, especially someone at your age. Gentoo is a great way to learn about how Linux ticks. Good to read that you are keen to help others by posting in these forums; even that is a good way to learn more about the distribution.

@saderror256: Welcome to Gentoo! :) It's the best GNU/Linux distribution in my opinion, you won't be disappointed! I wish I started using GNU/Linux at your early age... My first Gentoo installation happened when I was 17 years old... Now I'm 32 and still using Gentoo! 8)

I probably shouldn't forget about the awesome handbook (wiki's) here. They helped me out through the entire installation. I almost felt like I was reading a book lol.

Through the install I Found I a couple things that needed to be fixed and such, am I able to contribute to the handbook?

You can add some remarks to the Handbook talk pages.

saderror256,

Welcome to Gentoo.

Most of the wiki is open to registered users to edit directly.
There are a few exceptions but everywhere registered users can contribute on the talk pages.

You are among our youngest users. The youngest that I'm aware of announced his/her 13th birthday here.

Welcome to hell.
Note that you could use Gentoo without any sign of GNU. :)

Technically GNU is a collection of software, while FSF is a foundation. :)
