|
|
ok, I'm trying to gentoo linux on my comp, and I have DSL.
My isp is Southwestern Bell, and they use PPPoE.
That's as far as I've gotten. I can tell you that my ISP is using static IP's.
I've never used DSL before as I've always been on campus, so this is all new to me.
How in the world am I supposed to connect and rsync? I have to log in to their servers, etc., but how?
I've looked everywhere and noone seems to explain the step that I need.
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx. |

This has been answered several times in the archives. here's one thread that I pulled up with a simple search for "install AND pppoe". There are others. many others.
