Gentoo could add that, but it wouldn't accomplish much (and it can be turned on/off without a recompile by putting a mozilla.cfg file in the correct place).
Users of PiHole and other DNS-based adblocking solutions to blanket protect an entire LAN are going to be left high and dry. |

I find it disturbing that we need to protect ourselves against Mozilla now. _________________ I already use the new Genthree. |

We needed to anyway, after they quietly slipped adware in through a backdoor last year, and are now planning on using it to install a sponsored links sidebar.
Make sure the about:studies page says it's disabled. |
