Hi All:

I have a strange one that has been bugging me since I emerged thunar 1.8.1. Prior to 1.8.1 i was using PCManFM 1.2.5 because thunar was just too unstable.
Now, in my ~/folders directory I have a link listed below:
baby -> /run/media/jserink/Data/baby

When I run PCManFM, everytime that link works fine.
Since emerging thunar that link has never worked and today I figured out why...../run/media/jserink/Data/baby is not automounting at bootup in thunar for some reason.
If I right click on it and manually mount it, the link works perfectly.

Now, that flash disk is never removed, I treat it as basically another SSD so I want to automount and be there everyboot...which it was with PCManFM but now not with thunar.

How do I fix this?

Cheers,
john

Yah, been through that.
Code:
jserinki7 /home/jserink # equery list gvfs
 * Searching for gvfs ...
[IP-] [  ] gnome-base/gvfs-1.32.2:0
jserinki7 /home/jserink # equery uses gvfs
[ Legend : U - final flag setting for installation]
[        : I - package is installed with flag     ]
[ Colors : set, unset                             ]
 * Found these USE flags for gnome-base/gvfs-1.32.2:
 U I
 - - afp                   : Enables support for accessing AFP (Apple Filing Protocol) network shares
+ + archive               : Enables support for accessing files in archives transparently via app-arch/libarchive
 + + bluray                : Enable playback of Blu-ray filesystems using media-libs/libbluray
+ + cdda                  : Add Compact Disk Digital Audio (Standard Audio CD) support
 - - elogind               : Use sys-auth/elogind for session tracking.
+ + fuse                  : Enables fuse mount points in $HOME/.gvfs for legacy application access
 + + gnome-keyring         : Enable support for storing passwords via gnome-keyring
 - - gnome-online-accounts : Enable configuration panel for net-libs/gnome-online-accounts accounts

 - - gphoto2               : Add digital camera support
+ + gtk                   : Add support for x11-libs/gtk+ (The GIMP Toolkit)
 + + http                  : Enable the HTTP/DAV backend using net-libs/libsoup
+ + ios                   : Enable support for Apple's iDevice with iOS operating system (iPad, iPhone, iPod, etc)

+ + policykit             : Enable PolicyKit authentication support
+ + samba                 : Add support for SAMBA (Windows File and Printer sharing)
 - - test                  : Workaround to pull in packages needed to run with FEATURES=test. Portage-2.1.2 handles
this internally, so don't set it in make.conf/package.use anymore
+ + udev                  : Enable udev base replacement code for cdda feature
+ + udisks                : Enable storage management support (automounting, volume monitoring, etc)
 - - zeroconf              : Support for DNS Service Discovery (DNS-SD)
jserinki7 /home/jserink #

Polkit is also installed.....
I'm unmasking V0.115-r1 and see if that has any effect.

Cheers,
john
