|
|
I have been trying to follow another post to get my kernel patched for lm_sensors. I keep hitting this wall here. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Here is the error after running the patches in order.
Code: | bash-2.05b# find -iname "*.rej"
./drivers/i2c/Config.in.rej
./drivers/i2c/busses/dmi_scan.c.rej
./drivers/i2c/Makefile.rej
./drivers/i2c/i2c-pcf-epp.c.rej
./drivers/Makefile.rej
./Documentation/i2c/summary.rej
bash-2.05b# |
I am using the kernel version 2.4.20-gentoo-r5.
Is there a way to start over and see if that helps? It added the options in the make menuconfig for the chipsets but it errors out during the compile.
Any help would be appreciated. Somewhat new to Gentoo. About the 7th or 8th try at it anyway. I have to recompile to enable parport support for my printer too. Was trying to kill two birds with one stone.
Thanks

Never did get the patch to work. However, the new kernel works great.
Code: | bash-2.05b# uname -r
2.6.0-test11
bash-2.05b#
