A Little help please!!!!!!

I now have everything installed and am trying to use 2.6.0-test9. I have been working on this for SIX straight days. When I reboot it locks at

ACPI: Subsystem revision 20031002

I really don't know why but I have had one problem after another. I really want to use Gentoo but can't seem to get it working.

If someone could help me I would be very happy.

Personaly i wouldent user 26t9 yet, unless you have to, eg. wireless. I would stick to 2.4.xx for the next, what 20 or so days, until 2.6 is really "out". But your problem seems to be something not compiled in correctally, or a module not being loaded on startup.

I agree with the problem but I have been through most of the kernels and can't seem to get one to work. I would like to use 2.6, but I just want to get a system up an running.
