|
|
Hi!
I have some problems when connecting to my android phone using mtp. I have tried both using mtpfs and nautilus with gvfs (with mtp use enabled) and none of them worked.
When using mtp-detect it looks like it works well as it detects the device but when using mtp-connect the program gets stuck. On the other hand, in nautilus the phone just does not appear.
Things that I have already done:
- Installed gvfs with mtp USE flag enabled
- Activated fuse in the kernel config and installed the fuse package
- Installed libmtp
- Modified /etc/fuse.conf to uncomment "user_allow_other"
- Added user to plugdev group
Do you know what could it be?
Thanks in advance |

Same here, I need to connect to my 4-year-old Huawei Honor (CHM-U01), at least mount it's SD-card, but no success yet. Subscribed. |

At least I know that the cable i am using is working well because I have another Gentoo machine (with KDE) and it is working perfectly |

Have same issue, no auto mounting with android5+.
I use jmtpfs pkg now. Simple mounting.
Also there is way to write some (udev?) script to auto mount phone with jmtpfs. |
