|
|
I use virtual machines just for practicing on VulnHub & HackTheBox machines. Using VMware 15, the OpenSSL issues are preventing it from launching. Because of this, I have unmerged vmware-worksation & vmware-modules. I am currently in the process of emerging VirtualBox.
Having never really used virtual box, I just have a couple questions.
1. In gentoo, does it work similarly to Vmware when it comes to networking?
2. Is there anything else I should be aware of initially that isn't covered in the Gentoo wiki on VirtualBox? _________________ "You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think" ~ Dorothy Parker

Well, if you have a vmware windows guest it is going to flip a gasket about your hardware changing. _________________ First things first, but not necessarily in that order.
Apologies if I take a while to respond. I'm currently working on the dematerialization circuit for my blue box. |
